|Pastor Ke'tre L. Dickens
Pastor Ke'tre L. Dickens is a life-long native of Indianapolis, Indiana. He is married to Shawna Dickens and has
been blessed with four children.
Pastor Dickens accepted his call to preach the gospel in January of 2004 and was licensed to preach on January 23,
2005. One year later in October of 2006, Dr. Phillip Shobe of the St. John's Missionary Baptist church elevated Pastor
Dickens in ministry by ordaining him.
Pastor Dickens served as an Associate Minister of the St. John's M.B.C. from 2005 until August 2008. While there his
responsibilities were teaching, preaching, and counseling. He also served as the Youth Minister of Martindale Church
before being elevated to serve as its Senior Pastor. He has been the pastor of Martindale since October 12, 2008. His
spiritual gifts include shepherding, exhortation, prophesying, teaching, and giving.
Pastor Dickens is a graduate of Crossroads Bible College where he obtained his Associate of Arts degree in Bible and
Bachelor of Science degree in Pastoral Leadership. He graduated magna cum laude. Pastor Dickens then went on to
obtain his graduate degree from Cincinnati University where he graduated with his Master of Arts degree in Pastoral
Leadership. He received his Master of Divinity degree from Christian Theological Seminary.
He currently serves as the President of the Crossroads Bible College Alumni Association. Pastor Dickens is an executive
board member of the Community Resurrection Partnership of the Martindale-Brightwood neighborhoods. He also is a
mentor to elementary boys through CROWN Community Development Corporation. Pastor Dickens is a chaplain with
Workforce Chaplains which seeks to offer chaplaincy to corporate businesses and/or organizations.
He has been blessed to have spoken at a myriad of retreats, workshops, services, and youth conferences. His is a man
that loves God and loves to live out the Word of God in his life. His passion is people. His main goal, whenever he
encounters people publicly or privately, is to share the love of Christ with them in the hope that they may receive Christ
or grow closer to Him. He has an infatuation with professional wrestling. His favorite wrestler is Bret "Hitman" Hart and
his favorite dish is chicken fried steak.
